Szczytna 15 is a lofty side street from the main pedestrian area of the Old City - st. Wide. Street is located 50 meters from the Old Town Square, in the heart of Torun. The Gothic-style building from the fifteenth century arose restaurant microbrewery Jan Olbracht Old-Town Brewery.
John Albert (Jan Olbracht), from which the name of the place was born in Krakow, December 27, 1459 year. He was the son of Casimir and Elizabeth Rakuszanka of the Habsburgs. The first name of the patron owes its birth - St. John the Evangelist, the latter was the father of his mother - Emperor Albrecht.
The Lord was especially popular in Torun where he stayed several times. Jan Olbracht Old-Town Brewery is the only one of its kind in Torun with the installation of the production of beer, where the cooking is done in front of customers. Guests can taste the Polish cuisine with elements of Bavarian, sipping brewed beer in the traditional way.
Brewery and restaurant filled the whole house. On 2 levels available at a pub with beer and cuisine accompanied by Copernicus room with sofas and a part of A'la Carte dining.
The restaurant also has 3 having an independent air conditioning conference, which will be in place for 20 to 100 people.
Banquet-conference room on the second level can accommodate up to 100 people. It is equipped with a professional sound system with wireless microphones, projector, screen, Wi-Fi network, flipchart, as well as a live system. The gallery has mounted system, ideal for exhibitions, openings, etc.
